Augmented Reality Lenses May Change Your Life Style In Future

Can you control someone’s mind or see what he/she is thinking? Can you connect to the world virtually? At present, you can’t but possibly in the future. However, a group of Israeli students have made a futuristic seven minute short film – Sight. The film shows what people could do wearing augmented reality lenses in the future. This short film has sparked both admiration and revulsion online.

Augmented Reality Lenses

The short film Sight is produced by two Israeli students Eran May-raz and Daniel Lazo. Along with other Israeli students they created this futuristic seven minute short film. In fact, this was their graduation project from Bezaleal academy of arts. The film represents the function of augmented reality lenses. The film highlighted that in future, augmented reality lenses will be common and how a person leads his life and do his/her work wearing augmented reality lenses in the eyes.

The video below shows that a Sight System engineer wearing his company’s contact lense-like device Sight, which is embedded in his eye does almost everything with it. He plays games, sliced cucumbers, watches videos and picks out clothes for his evening date etc.

The man had many apps. “Wingman” was one of them. Wingman was a perfect dating app that guided him on what to say throughout his date. The man impressed the girl a lot as he did everything perfect using the app Wingman. At last, the man convinced the girl to take her to his home. But after reaching his home, the girl found out that the man with whom she had been dating on that evening was using the dating app. She became disgusted and instantly got up to leave the man’s apartment.

But as the girl was about to leave the man’s apartment, the man surprisingly manipulated her Sight, gained control of her mind, accessed to her profile and said, “Let’s try this again.”

However, the video has sparked both admiration and revulsion online. If you want to see the people’s comments and their reactions, you can head over to Vimeo
