‘Anonymous OS Live’ Released, The Hacktivist Group Denies Any Links

According to the reports floating on the web, an ‘Anonymous OS Live’ has been released. The OS is Ubuntu-based and has been released on Sourceforge. The description says that it uses Ubuntu 11.10 and has MATE desktop. A number of well-known Anonymous sources have categorically stated that they have no affiliation with the released OS and have rather warned that it may be some nefarious software.

While we have to wait the verdict from a Congress who’s members define internet as ‘tubes’ and ‘internets’, the online community continues it’s severe criticism of the bill. The bill aims for internet censorship which, most argue, will eliminate the freedom of speech that online realm provides. The hackers have decided to present their own solution: let’s launch satellites and use internet through them so that no one could control internet. Seems like an interesting idea.

European authorities made headway this week in the pursuit of Anonymous members there with several raids in Italy where the group has attacked public and private websites and it has done round the world and in the United States…………

Sony May Have Thirf Attack By Hackers

Sony may have prevented another attack on the PSN, G4TV.com and CNET posted an article last week detailing a possible third attack on Sony’s servers overheard by a member of an IRC and the attack would have involved hackers gaining access to Sony servers to access data.The hackers allegedly already have access to some of Sony’s servers and plan to go public with the personal information they find in their attack, it is not clear from the report whether or not these hackers are part of the Anonymous group………
