Google Receives Design Patent For Its Project Glass

In a tech world that is increasingly interconnected, it is pertinent to file for patents as soon as something is a genuine intellectual property. That is precisely why, Google has been trying to get the patents of the design of its Project Glass. And as expected, Google has been granted the patent for the design.

Google has been touting its Project Glass as something which can truly change the whole experience of connectivity and computing. And from what Google has revealed so far, it does sound like a very promising venture.

However, questions have been raised as to whether Google will be able to pull off such a thing because for now, the hardware constraints are numerous. This patent, which Google has been granted, also affords a peek into the design of the glasses. From the outlook, these glasses look just like any other glasses.

But on the inside of the rims is some sort of technology which comprises of a small piece of hardware and accomplishes all the magic that Google promises through Project Glass. What is a tad bit confusing is that whether or not Google has achieved a fully-functional pair of glasses which contains such a hardware or it is still a concept.
