Skype App For Android Passed 70 Million Downloads, Supports 1384 Devices

Android app of Skype was first launched in October 2010 and last year it added video call support. The star of PC-to-PC communication has set many milestones for the industry. For example, last February the service was connecting 34 million people concurrently. Now, the Microsoft owned company has touched another milestone.Since the launch of Skype App for Android in 2010, it has been downloaded over 70 million times. The company also said that the app now supports almost 1,400 Android devices.

According to analytic, most of the users of Skype app owns HTC, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, and LG devices. Among these, Samsung smartphone users are the most dominating.

By using Skype for Android, you can make free video call, share media, even instantly message to your dearest ones. The Skype app for Android is available in 16 languages.
