Imagine you have a watch which has a knack of changing its color to whatever surrounding you are in. It can turn to green when you are in your garden, blue when you are sitting by lake and so on. This is an amazing concept for an LED watch which has been proposed by designers Peter and Sam. The concept is being dubbed ‘camalien.’

So how the change of color be accomplished by the watch? First of all, the watch comes with LEDs so that the time, itself, is displayed in a really stylish manner. Furthermore, it has a camera built right into it.

This camera is able to record the general ambience and color of your surroundings and then tweak the color of the LEDs on the watch accordingly so that your watch seems to have taken up the color of the surroundings.

The watch also has a number of other features. It is able to scroll different messages on its display and can also display the surrounding color and current time, both at the same time by overlaying them through light pulses.

Another very interesting feature is that of ‘swarm mode.’ In the swarm mode, if you are wearing a Camalien watch, you can prompt all other Camalien watches in your surrounding to light up at the same time. That could be a scene to behold. Posted below is a video of the concept.
