HBO Go Arrives On Xbox 360 In April

1 April is widely known as April Fool day. But any how, HBO Go is coming from the very first day of this April. I hope there is no cache. HBO co-President Eric Kessler mentioned, due to huge demand of HBO Go, the service will be online from April 1 onwards. Just need to wait slightly one month to see the response. Either people are going be mumbling or they are gonna be screaming up in joy.

This April 1 HBO Go is gonna hit the Xbox 360. Earlier, Microsoft started to introduce more Xbox 360 streaming video options like SyFy, Bravo, YouTube and Crackle. In order to gain the HBO Go service, one needs to have an HBO subscription. It can be easily accessed via Web browsers, Roku boxes, iOS- and Android-powered devices. Some important features about Go are:

With GO

–> Extensive library of content
–> No commercials
–> Multiple platform support (iPod, iPad, Android, Web)
–> Resumes playback at pause point (at least on same device)
–> Free for HBO subscribers
–> Great video quality on high speed connections
–> Watchlist for favorite shows
–> Appealing visual design

Without GO

–> Low bandwidth forces streaming to audio-only mode
–> No mobile device video output to TV screen
–> HBO GO pre-roll plays every time on resuming playback
–> SMS & alerts exit video playback rather than just pausing
–> No download option for offline use
–> Parental controls not in app and can be hard to find on provider’s Web site
–> No closed captions yet

Moreover, Microsoft is gonna debut alongside the premiere of season two of Game of Thrones. Therefore people will be able to jump straight from the hills of Tamriel to the fields of Winterfell with the greatest of ease. To know something more, you can click here
