Pandigital Novel PRD09TW e-Reader

Pandigital have released another new e-reader naming as Novel PRD09TW.The Novel just hit the FCC under the name PRD09TW and almost looks like their last Pandigital Novel. Currently, there are no specs included in the submission or published on the net.But it seems to be mostly identical in appearance to the current Pandigital Novel, with the notable exception of four buttons along the bottom.

If you remember what the previous Novel has its features, then it could be pretty sure that this new one will have access to Barnes and Noble’s eBook store and some Android apps that could include a music player, video player, email client and web browser.

The other thing that Pandigital did is do a one-two combo. The 9-inch is the big brother to a 6-inch reader using e-ink for its screen. No indication for the 6-inch device if it’s a new one or just a renovated Novel Personal e-Reader.

Thanks

What problems do you seem to be having? To be honest with you i got two of these for my teens because THEY ASKED for them but I LOVE THEM!!!!! They download music , do youtube, facebook, experienceproject, sodahead, and more.. . . You have to go to BROADCOM BCM70012 / and / or BCM70015 and decode the chipset. It uses Windows Aero and will guide you thru it step by step. BTW…every where we go , people ask my kids about their “IPAD” LOL!!

I’ve had mine just 5 months and WAS in love with the product. That was until my on/off button stopped working and so far Pandigital will not stand by their product:
Pandigital firmly stands behind the quality of our
products. It clearly states in our Warranty, which is included in each device, that we do not cover
“damage or malfunctions caused byaccident, disaster, misuse, abuse, negligence or other
external causes”. It is the soleresponsibility of the customer to use this device in the
manner that the user guide instructs. Fordevices that are truly defective due to an issue of
workmanship or materials and fall within thewarranty period with proof of purchase, Pandigital
clearly, as is stated in our Warranty, reserves the right to “repair or replace the device,
at its sole discretion”. Pandigital does not have a repair facility. It would
cost more to repair a device than replace it.Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions. So basically, I feel like they’re telling my tough, it’s my problem. I paid nearly $200 for this item. I’m very upset.

Mediamonkey is a great tool for downloading music to your pandigital. I have downloaded music and album covers to my pandigital. It just takes time to learn. You can still use itunes, but you have to convert from mp4 to mp3, which is where mediamonkey comes in handy. I found some of my answers on blogs and youtube. I believe mediamonkey has a 30 day free trial. It will work just take time to learn it.
