Skype has now finally brought things fully up to speed with its Windows counterpart and released the final version of Skype 5.0 for OS X and version 5.0 is now available as a free download.Included in the new features are a call control bar, group video calling, the ability to search chat content, integration with the OS X Address Book and a smaller floating contacts monitor. The only missing feature from the Windows version of Skype is its integration of the Facebook newsfeed.The centerpiece of Skype version 5.0 is group video calling (GVC), letting 10 users vid-chat with each other.Group video calling is free for a week, but after that day pass is $4.99, or a monthly subscription is $8.99 and customer support is included.
