Sony has brought two innovations to its all-in-one desktops with the Vaio L Series. Sony’s VAIO L Series all-in-one PC is set to arrive in Europe mid April 2011. The members of the line are not so much differentiated by size as they are by their hardware, the CPU being the prime distinctive element.
The systems have either a 2.3 GHz Core i5-2410M or a 2.0 Core i7-2630QM at their hearts. The Sony’s VAIO L Series will run on Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional and will cost just about €1,299.
The VAIO L features a 24-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED-backlit touchscreen, a touch-enabled bezel providing various extra controls (zooming, on-screen keyboard activation, windows closing and others), up to 8GB of RAM, a 1TB hard drive, a DVD or Blu-ray drive, a GeForce GT 540M graphics card, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, a HD webcam, dual 5.5W speakers, two USB 3.0 ports and one HDMI output.
