To celebrate two years since Rovio’s phenomenon took the world by storm, Angry Birds have gifts for their fans. The makers of Angry Birds announced 15 new levels inspired, obviously, by a birthday party. In addition, all the levels are unlocked so no matter how skilled you might have been in crushing the evil pigs, now you can jump to any level you like.
To make the best of the moment, Rovio partnered with Barnes & Noble and on December 11 th organized special events in many stores. Children, and let’s face it, not only then, were enthusiastic about scavenger hunts, contests, parades, guessing games. Toys “R” Us offered on this special occasion discounted Angry Birds toys.
The company that proudly announced these days the celebration of 300 levels of Angry Birds, has now a popularity far wider than expected two years ago. Angry Birds not only dominated Apple’s download charts in almost every category available, as the most downloaded app for iPhone and iPad, but get out of iDevices and made the best out of their popularity.
We’re going to see Angry Birds aTV as Rovio plans to launch an animated series. If we have enough of Angry Birds on iPads or iPhones we could turn to a PlayStation Portable or a Play Station 3 to enjoy the game further more.
