Is Next Generation Call of Duty In The Verge Of Making?

Apparently, Infinity Ward the studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is looking for a new team member in a key position. The company is interested in hiring a senior animator who has “an interest in working with next-generation technologies”. The inquisitive tech reporters were unable to find out more details from the job listing.

The new employee is expected to work in California-Encino and he or she is required to be able to “create high quality realistic key-framed and motion capture animations, demonstrating a strong sense of posing, timing, and weight” and to play nice with others.

At least about the new technologies there are some rumors available. According to the news issued at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg explained that his company “will be supporting the Wii U”. He also warned the analysts “You bet against Nintendo at your peril.” Afterwards rumors about Sony and Microsoft planning new consoles surfaced the web.

The hunt for suitable candidates to join the Infinity Ward team comes after the Activision announced the Modern Warfare 3 content season. Infinity Ward, Raven Software, and Sledgehammer were considered as developers to work on the new game update.
