Angry Birds franchise comprises of a number of such games which proved most popular at the time of their launch and continue to be among the best mobile games yet. Rovio has now rolled out a new cross-platform cloud sync feature, which would let you take a given, saved Angry Birds game from one device to another.
This feature is very useful for Angry Birds users because these users hail from a wide range of platforms. Angry Birds is equally popular on both iOS and Android; it’s web version is also a huge hit. Though until now, playing on one platform, you could not take your scores etc to another, it is possible now.
The new service is being touted as Rovio Account and the official post announcing the launch states, “We know that you’ve all been waiting for a way to sync progress between devices and we really feel that we have an amazing solution in place now.”
Apparently, Rovio has been offering this feature to a limited number of users as part of the beta phase and now, the company is rolling it out to all the Angry Birds users worldwide. In fact, the feature is also available for ‘The Croods’ game.
