Apple‘s ‘Find My Friends’ app on iOS devices has long been a popular tool to look up the location of friends and share yours. Until now, Find My Friends app in iOS 7 looked a lot like its older version. But now, Apple has overhauled the design of the app to give it a sleek look, with a better user interface.
Before this redesign, the Find My Friends app on iOS 7 came with rusty looks. It packed a brownish interface and the maps used to indicate the location of friends had a very obsolete look.
Apple has finally taken care of this by pushing out an updated version of Find My Friends app. The updated version is accessible on iOS 7 devices and comes with an all new icon. Although the company hasn’t added any new features to the app, it has trimmed down the bulky interface and replaced it with a light and slim interface.
Moreover, Apple has also implemented an orange color scheme in the overall looks of the app, granting it a very fresh appearance. If you haven’t used the app to date, all you need to is sign in with your Apple ID and then invite your friends to join you. Once you have other friends who use the app, you will be able to share your exact location as well as see the location of your friends and contacts. For iOS users, this is an excellent friends’ location-discovery tool.
