Apple Released iOS 6.1.1 To Fix iPhone 4S Bugs

If you’re an iPhone 4S user who updated to iOS 6.1 and facing a bunch of bugs ever since, then you’re in luck. Because Apple has released an iOS 6.1.1 update to fix the major connectivity issues that iPhone 4S users were experiencing after the update.


iOS 6.1.1 Update

After the release of iOS 6.1, people started to update their iPhone firmware. But Vodafone warned its iPhone 4S users not to update to iOS 6.1 because of battery and connectivity problems. Vodafone also notified its iPhone 4S customers that Apple was “working on a solution to their software issue.”

Hence, Apple decided to release an iOS 6.1.1 update real quick. It has released iOS 6.1.1 update within two weeks of iOS 6.1 launch.

Apple said that the iOS 6.1.1 update will fix “an issue that could impact cellular performance and reliability for iPhone 4S.” The iOS 6.1.1 update is of 86.8MB.

To update your iPhone 4S to iOS 6.1.1 select Settings > General > Software Update or connect your phone to your PC and check via iTunes.
