ModMyi has released a very useful tweak iGotYa app for iPhone.iGotYa is a new app which enables you to protect your iPhone with an unlock password. If the unlock code is entered wrong then this app will take a picture of the person trying to use your iphone and get the location of your iPhone silently and send it to your email.
iGotYa will allow you to take a picture of the person trying to use your phone (using front-facing camera) and get the location where your iPhone is at. You will need to protect your iPhone with a unlock code and iGotYa will do the rest. if the unlock code is entered wrong then iGotYa will take a picture and the location of your iPhone silently and send it to your email. You can also allow access to the iPhone with a wrong code entered but all your personal data (SMS, Call History, Web History, Mail, etc) will be hidden.

is there a way this could work on ipod touch? i.e- fake password then let them connect to wifi then once connected send the email? Also, would rather add option to report the device stolen via your computer (maybe threw email or a website account linked to the app) so we don’t have to spend time entering a stupid password every time we unlock. idk food for thought, i’de design it if i had a mac, but i don’t.
