We recently reported that according to certain inside sources, Apple will be unveiling its upcoming flagship iPhone handsets at a September 10 event. Now, yet another source has claimed that the actual launch event for iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be on October 25.
The September 10 tip came, as per the claims, from an authentic source. And a similar claim is being made about this new tip. So it remains to be seen which of the two turns out to be true.
We recently also posted images of what are being claimed as the prototypes of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C handsets. The images certainly seem to be real, given the level of details shown in them.
From what we know about these upcoming handsets, thanks to the rumors, it can be safely assumed that the iPhone 5S will arrive with a ramped up camera, quite possibly an 8MP camera with many improvements. Moreover, it is also being said that the 5S model will pack a fingerprint scanner.
The iPhone 5C, on the other hand, will be a relatively cheaper model launched at a much lower price and featuring a plastic outlook. However, we are not yet sure how different the internals of iPhone 5C will be, compared to the iPhone 5S handset. Given the rumors quoted above, we’ll get to know about this either on September 10 or October 25.
