It seems like the Apple deja vu time of the year is here. Leaks about upcoming iPhone models have started trickling in and now, a Vietnamese site has posted images of what are being touted as the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C handsets. The images seem fairly genuine and show the difference between the two upcoming models.

iPhone 5S

The key model which Apple is due to release later this year is iPhone 5S. It is expected to arrive with not many significant hardware changes, except a faster processor and a better camera. The overall feel of the handset is also pretty much the same as the current iPhone 5.

iPhone 5C

iPhone 5C, on the other hand, is the low-cost version of iPhone 5S. It features a plastic body and so far, we don’t know much about the internal specs of the handset.

The photos released, of the two handsets, do show that iPhone 5C’s plastic body does have a cheap feel. However, if Apple retails it at a rightly low price, it may become a huge hit in the developing markets.

iPhone 5S

In both the upcoming handsets, the headphone jack is placed at the bottom while the Lightning Dock connector is situated towards the middle of the bottom, accompanied by speaker holes on both sides. The speaker holes are significantly different in iPhone 5S and 5C.

The iPhone 5C handset has a rather smooth and simple texture on the back whereas iPhone 5S seems to be far more elegant and stylish. However, Apple has added some of the hallmark design genius of its earlier iPhone handsets to the cheaper iPhone 5C. Which means, even if you buy the cheaper model, you would be in for a good enough deal.
