There are lots of iPhone 4 knockoffs in China, and all of them look similar to Apple’s iPhone 4 but this SoPhone here is probably the king of fake iPhones.Chinese company Shenzhen SUFF Industry has introduced the SoPhone 4, a new GSM-based handset that aims to be nearly identical to the iPhone 4 in every possible way, blatantly copying the external design of Apple’s fourth-generation handset and iOS 4 UI.
Powered by MTK6235 chipset, the SoPhone comes with a 3.5-inch (480 X 320) capacitive touchscreen, 4GB of flash storage, front and rear camera with 2 megapixels, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and removable 1400mAh battery. The handset supports GSM and WCDMA, and it also includes the support of Java and WAP. It measures 115.2×58.6×9.3mm, which is exactly the same size as Apple’s iPhone 4. However, it lacks a retina display.

The Sophone sells for 1380 Chinese yuan, or about $209. It’s not cheap like most knockoffs are, but the Sophone definitely deserves its spot as the best iPhone 4 knockoff of 2010.

i live in australia and our laws will not allow lithium batteries to be flown back to China by our Postal service, so sophone has built in battery and connot be removed without voiding warranty. so guess what i am stuck with a phone that has a bad camera because the only way to send it back to china is through a courier that wants to charge me $164. so before you buy, check with your postal service.
