MSI has announced another 15.6 gaming laptop, this latest one built around Intel’s Core i5 platform and featuring an Nvidia GeForce GT 425M graphics chip inside.Depending on the trim level, it can scale up from a 2.26GHz Core i5 to a 2.53GHz version.
More specifically, the GE603 consists of an Intel Core i5 460M, 450M, or 430M processor, up to 8GB of DDR3-1066 memory, 320/500/640GB hard drive, DVD burner, four USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 memory card reader, HDMI, VGA, 2.1 channel speakers with SRS Premium Sound, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GbE LAN, an HD webcam, Windows 7, and a 9-cell battery.
Additional features for this gaming beast is it’s Cinema Pro and Color-Film-Print. The Cinema Pro button switches your display over to film mode for higher resolution and more vivid colors. Combine this with the SRS Premium Sound and you also have a high functioning media entertainment device on the go.
MSI hasn’t said when the GE603 will be available, detailed a base configuration or revealed pricing. Most of its notebooks reach the US and receive launch details closer to the actual ship date.
