Packared Bell Dot S4 netbook is new in market with his cool laser etched case design….
Looks like Packard Bell is serious about revamping their Dot line of netbooks for their non-US customers. The exact netbook that has been spotted in Italy is the Packard Bell Dot S4 netbook.
Packard Bell’s launched a refresh of its Dot line — at least internationally — with the 10.1-inch S4. The company’s thinned it down considerably here, and stuffed an Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail CPU, GMA 3150 graphics, up to 2GB of RAM, and an up to 250GB hard drive. Other than that it’s got 802.11b/g/n WiFi, an up to 6-cell battery, and comes with Windows 7 Home Starter edition pre-installed.
Notebook Italia managed to spend some time with the new netbook, and discovered that it has a rather interesting pixelized floral patern on the lid, a chiclet-style keyboard, and umm… that’s about it. Oh yeah, there’s Packard Bell branding on the lid and screen bezel instead of Acer branding.
I haven’t seen many Packard Bell netbooks in the US, so my guess is that this model is destined for Europe.
