Samsung Will Unveil Enhanced Series 7 Chronos And New Ultrabooks At CES 2013

The CES 2013 is going to be held from Jan 8 to Jan 11. While people are eagerly waiting to see what new things will be unveiled at CES 2013 South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced that it’ll unveil enhanced Series 7 Chronos with AMD graphics and a 13-inch new Ultrabook at the CES 2013.


Samsung Series 7 Chronos

Samsung will refresh its Series 7 Chronos with better hardware. The enhanced Series 7 Chronos weighs 5.18-pound and will feature a 15.6-inch full 1920×1080 HD display, an optional 10-point touchscreen, 2.4GHz Intel Core i7 3635QM CPU, an AMD Radeon HD8870M GPU with 2GB of memory, a 300-nit, expandable RAM up to 16GB of RAM in a chassis just over 20mm thick, expandable storage (up to 1TB of storage), a backlit keyboard, JBL stereo speakers, RAMaccelerator, and 11 hours of battery life.

Samsung 13-inch Ultrabook

On the other hand, Samsung’s 13-inch ultrabook will be available in two versions – one with a touchscreen that weighs 1.65kg (3.63lbs) and one without touchscreen that weighs 1.46kg (3.21lbs). Apart from that, one version will have Core i5 processor (will run on ultra low voltage) with 128GB storage capacity and the other will have Core i7 processor (will run on ultra low voltage) with 256GB storage capacity. Both version will have with a bit more than 1mm thickness and feature 1GB AMD HD8570M GPU, a full 1920×1080 HD display with 178 degrees viewing angle, 350-nit, expandable RAM (up to 16GB), a backlit keyboard, JBL speakers, total three USB ports (two 2.0 USB ports, one 3.0 USB ports), HDMI, Ethernet, mini-VGA, 4G LTE connectivity option, a memory card reader and 8 hours of battery life. Samsung neither has mentioned the pricing of enhanced Series 7 Chronos and 13-inch Ultrabook nor their availability.
