Panasonic has launched a smartphone branded as Eluga P-04D with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This is the European version of previously released japan-centric P-04D and 102P phones. Along with other features the waterproof design is what makes it a promising one.
P-04D, Eluga, has a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP 4430 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. The internal memory is 8 GB whereas the display is a 4.3-inch OLED one having qHD 960 x 540 pixels resolution. The 8 megapixels camera has uto-focus capability and image stabilization functionality. The phone is empowered with a Li-Ion 1,150 mAh battery. It is expected that with this battery 240 minutes of talk time and 300 hours in stand-by period will be achieved.
