Cricket Wireless launches LG Optimus C for $130 off-contract and this phone offers yet another oh-so-slightly-different design along with all the same specs we’ve seen before a capacitive 3.2-inch HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, a 600MHz processor and Android 2.2 with some minor LG customizations……….
LG, the Korean’s manufacturer has planned to roll LG Optimus One as Optimus C at Cricket. The reports reveal that the low-budget handset would be available on March 17 with the price tag of $199.The Optimus C have a 600 MHz processor with power of Android 2.2 Froyo and the company has now announced plans to release Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update sometime this year.The handset features a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen with 262k colors support and 320 x 480 pixel resolution, accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and video recording capabilities and proximity sensor for auto turn-off of the screen.The incorporated Li-Ion 1500 mAh battery offers 700 hours on standby mode or 8 hours talk time. LG Optimus C supports HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, GPS with A-GPS support, microUSB 2.0, as well as Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP for connectivity purposes. The phone includes only 170 MB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB.
