Archos Gen 10 Tablet Will Launch In Late August

Archos first announced its Gen 10 Android tablet in March when the company rolled out its 2012 product lineup as a tablet maker. According to the company’s Facebook page, the G10 will be available in 3 weeks. That means, we have to wait till end of August to get it. TThe company did not add anything new in the device, that means the specifications are the same when it has been introduced. But we already know that this device will work with a keyboard dock like Asus Transformer series.

Archos Gen 10 is a ultra-thin tablet with 7.6mm thick. When you will use dock then it will be 12mm thick. Previously, the company said that this tablet would be shipped with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Now it is possible to ship this tablet with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The company did not disclose the specifications of the device. Even, its price has not been mentioned. The source said that the Archos Gen 10 will sell for $260 to $520.
