Google is expected to unveil Android’s next version – Key Lime Pie – at its I/O conference next month. The company may make a few more announcements at the I/O conference, including an upgraded Nexus 7. As per speculations, Nexus 7’s next iteration will be the first Android device per-loaded with Key Lime Pie. It is expected to release on July, and retain the $199 price tag of the first generation.
We reported yesterday, Google is expected to launch an upgraded version of its Nexus 4 smartphone. The new model may include 32GB storage and upgraded 4G LTE network capabilities with the new version of Android (Key Lime Pie) in May.
The new Nexus 7 tablet is rumored to have a full HD display, Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities with slimmer design. Slight changes in design that will make this tablet thinner and lighter than before. Some rumors says, Google may swap the Nexus 7′s existing NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. The device will be manufactured by Asus as before. The tablet will be totally reachable for almost everyone, keeping its current price point of $199. So, let’s hope for the best happens at Google I/O conference.
