Australian Developer, Firemint has announced that there is a new update coming to Real Racing 2 HD, a famous iPad game. This means you have proper 1080p output on your TV and not just restricted to the iPad resolution of 1024×768.
The video below shows Real Racing 2 HD running on a TV with 1080p and the iPad shows a different user interface. The release of the update is unknown, but it definitely shows the power of iPad gaming in coming months. As per the developer, this would be the first iOS app to take advantage of the custom 1080p video output using which you can connect a HDTV to show the main action from the iPad on to the TV.
