Reportedly, Apple is making another new iPad which includes a 9.7-inch Retina display, a different battery and LCD backlighting scheme. The source said that its battery will be less hot and thickness and weight will be similar to the iPad 2. This iPad will be released anytime before the holiday season alongside the iPad mini, that is also rumored for the same time. At first, Digitimes published this rumor and they got it from several Chinese news reports.
The source said that Apple is finding different ways to reduce the device’s internal temperature. The company will use an improved battery and a single LED backlight which will not impact on the brightness and clarity of the iPad’s Retina display.
The source did not provide the other specifications like processor, storage, audio and video support, camera, system requirement etc. And we could not verify any of the claims.
