Can I use this drive with the Mac? If So how do I format it?
Yes, you could use it with Mac. If you want to format it from Mac use Disk Utility. But remember you cant write on NTFS partion from Mac OS.
This drive will not mount using Mac OS Lion.
I formatted it using MAC OS Extended journaled on a Mac Pro running OS 10.6.8, then tried to mount it with my Macbook Pro running OS 10.7.2 and the drive is not recognized.
osx can’t see this hd driver!

canvio plus USB 3.0 have some problem with some kind of USB 3.0 controller,I have test it,on same ASUS notebook with USB 2.0 and 3.0,it doen’t detected on USB 3.0,but work on USB 2.0..
