As the holiday season goes into full swing and we near Christmas, which is when the spirit of gifting will be at its peak, Amazon has released a service to help you keep track of all your gifts. Dubbed ‘Friends and family gifting’, the service essentially lets you create lists of items-to-gift for different occasions.
It’s often a tad bit messy to keep track of all the gifts that you have to give, especially if it’s an occasion like Christmas where you may want to give gifts to more than one person. Same can be the case on other events – for instance, on your graduation, you may wish to share gifts with your fellows.
The new ‘Friends and family gifting’ service lets you do this without any hassle. It lets you create gift and wish lists so as to let you organize yourself and plan what kind of gifts you want to get. Moreover, it also lets you share these lists across the social media.
Amazon also automatically displays any gift-giving occasions that may be on their way so that you are sure of not missing any of them. You can include birthdays on this list by adding the dates of your friends’ birthdays on the ‘Friends and family gifting’ service.
According to the senior vice president of U.S. Marketing, Visa Card, Cheryl Guerin, “The reaction from a friend or loved one when they receive a thoughtful gift is priceless, however, identifying and purchasing that gift can be stressful. We’re happy to join Amazon in simplifying the gift giving experience with Friends & Family Gifting, giving customers more time to spend experiencing the joys of holiday traditions.”
