Just after a few days of beta 9 released Mozilla has released the latest Firefox 4 Beta 10. Beta 10 has no new features — it simply squashes about 500 bugs, thus improving stability across Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. Firefox 4 beta 10 includes fixes for an extensive list of bugs reported by testers of the previous beta release.
Other features of Firefox 4 include significant performance improvements, the integration of syncing (history, bookmarks, etc) across devices, support for OpenType and additional HTML5 features, and crash protection against problems occurring with the Flash, QuickTime and Silverlight plug-ins.
In addition, the new browser supports WebGL, WebM, and parts of CSS Transitions.
Firefox 4 beta 10 is available for download.
