During Halloween, Instagram has introduced new feature in the ‘Explore’ section which more like a channel for video streaming. As Twitter has its Moments and Snapchat has Stories, Instagram has called it ‘Best Videos’.
The feature has released with a collection of holiday-themed videos under the headline ‘Watch Halloween’s best videos’. By clicking on the green leveled ‘Watch Halloween’, you will see bunch of Halloween video featuring trick-or-treat, scary faces, singing, thriller dance-off and many more videos that have been shared during this Halloween season.
Instagram has featured the videos by filmmaker Zach King who is very popular on social media for pranking trick or treater. You will also watch Astronaut Scott Kelly who acted creepy into the International Space Station. Instagram also put the spotlight on singer John Mayer, model Heidi Klum, the Obamas, chef Alton Brown and more.
Gabe Madway, a spokesperson of Instagram, reported to email to Mashable and said, ‘This is a new way to experience events and big moments, as they happen, through the eyes of the Instagram community. There is a ton of great video on Instagram, and we wanted to bring it all into one viewing experience. People love to come together and celebrate big events on Instagram, so it makes a lot of sense to do this on Halloween, which is one of our biggest days.’ Madway also mentioned that this feature might be updated past witching hour on Halloween.
