The Social Network, the highly acclaimed movie about the founding of Facebook, won 3 of 8 nominations at the 83rd Oscar Academy Awards. It was nominated for eight awards, including Best: Picture, Actor (Jesse Eisenberg who played as Mark Zuckerberg), Director, Adapted Screenplay, Cinematography, Film Editing, Original Score and Sound Mixing.
Despite losing to The King’s Speech for Best Picture, The Social Network won 3 Oscar Awards including Best Film Editing by the dynamic duo Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter, Best Adapted Screenplay by American screenwriter, producer and playwright Aaron Sorkin, and Best original score by singer-songwriter, composer, and producer Trent Reznor.
The story revolves around Harvard undergraduate Mark Zuckerberg, who developed a computer program that will eventually become the phenomenally successful social networking site, Facebook. It was directed by David Fincher and features a cast of young ensembles including Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield, Justin Timberlake, Brenda Song, Armie Hammer, Max Minghella, Rashida Jones, Joseph Mazzello, and Rooney Mara.

I don’t think anyone would watch college students cramming for hours just to finish their thesis. I really think The Social Network is both inaccurate, as well as false for the sake of entertainment and nothing’s wrong with that! If it’s Hollywood, you have to prioritize entertainment more than giving facts; like an art enthusiast prioritizing design over technicality.
