Hard Disk Drive Capacity Could Reach 60 Terabyte By 2016

IHS iSuppli has predicted in its Storage Space Market Brief report that during the five years from 2011 to 2016 maximum capacity in hard disk drives (HDD) will more than double. Storage giant Seagate also predicted earlier that it will be possible to make 60TB hard drive by 2016, where laptop’s hard drives could reach 10TB to 20TB at the same time frame.

The company claims that the R6300 Wi-Fi Router is the industry’s first 802.11ac router. The R6300 Wi-Fi Router supports combined Wi-Fi speeds up to 1750 Mbps. The A6200 Wi-Fi adapter is a first-to-market 802.11ac dual band Wi-Fi USB adapter. By using it, a consumer can easily upgrade their existing wireless networks to 802.11ac performance. The NETGEAR R6300 WiFi Router is priced at $199.99 which will be available in May 2012 and the NETGEAR A6200 WiFi adapter is priced at $69.99, it will be available in the third quarter of 2012.
