Nokia Introduce Three New Symbian Belle Powered Smartphones

Nokia launches three new smartphones, Symbian Belle powered Nokia 700, Nokia 701 and Nokia 600 smartphones. Nokia 700 smallest smartphone knew as the Zeta features a 1GHz CPU, a 3.2-inch AMOLED “ClearBlack” display with Gorilla Glass, NFC, 5MP full-focus camera, pentaband 3G radio. The 700 supports a talk time of 7.3 hours and comes with five different colors. It’s expected price is $390.

Android Still King Of The US Smartphone Market

As Android continues to dominate U.S. smartphone market share month after month, a new report argues that this momentum will be the key to saving Motorola and it is that rapid growth and popularity which could be the key to save flagging Motorola Mobility, which was purchased last week, according to a new report from the NPD Group. Android currently holds 52 percent of the smartphone market as of the end of the second quarter of 2011 and there’s been some concern voiced about how Google might treat its other Android partners now that it has an actual device maker under in its tent, but NPD doesn’t think that’ll be a problem and Google has said publically that things wouldn’t change with its partners……………….

Mac OS X 10.7.1 Available On Mac App Store

Apple has released 10.7.1 Update in the Mac App Store and if you wish to update you can download this update from the Software Update or the Mac App Store, but keep in mind you have to have already purchased OS X Lion. The update should mean that users newly purchasing OS X Lion will receive 10.7.1 directly rather than having to install the base 10.7.0 version and then update to 10.7.1 and Apple has only rarely updated its retail packaging to include more up-to-date versions of the operating systems…………..

Verizon To Offer $20/300MB Data Plan

Verizon introduced a new 300MB data plan for $20/month for the carrier’s mid-Atlantic region and had now announced a regional data deal perfect for the back to school crowd. The promotion will be available to subscribers in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina from August 18th through September 30th and Verizon actually going right after AT&T’s $15 data plan that provides users with 200MB of data usage per month……………
