Apple outages are beginning to become a regular event, as users are reporting downtime with iMessage, Game Center, iTunes Match, Facetime, and the iTunes/App Store. Last week on October 25th Apple’s iMessage service was down several hours during the afternoon.
Many users have taken iMessage downtime complaints to social media websites, such as Facebook and Twitter. The outage began around 2:00 PM Pacific time and reports still indicate that iMessage is still not working. On the other hand, many people have been restored access to Game Center, iTunes Match, and the iTunes/App Store.
According to the iCloud status page, all services are back online — but many Twitter users have verified iMessage still remains offline. It remains unknown when the service will be brought back online, but some users report restarting their devices has fixed the issue.
