KickStarter: Agent Smartwatch Offers Superior Battery Life

We have seen certain smart watch project muster extra-ordinary success on KickStarter. This includes the likes of Pebble which was able to raise millions of dollars. Now, another smartwatch has landed on the funds crowdsourcing website, offering unparalleled battery life and ease of apps development.

Agent smartwatch

Agent smartwatch packs a 1.28-inch memory display which is set up with anti-glare glass to offer better visibility even in sunlight. Under the hood is an ARM Cortex-M4 processor which powers up this nifty device. Other significant features of the watch include wireless charging, water-resistant body as well as a whole range of sensors.

An interesting part of the Agent smartwatch is that it makes use of the .NET framework. This essentially means that developers can write apps for the watch in C#. In other words, developing apps for the Agent smartwatch can be ultra-easy.

The actual production of the watch has been announced to start in December, carrying a price tag of $249. The team behind the product aimed to raise some $100,000 but has already exceeded $270,00o in pledges, which denotes that this project is already a huge success.

While the price of the watch may sound a tad bit steep to many users, you can have it for $149, without the wireless charger. For users who already wirelessly charge their Lumia or Nexus handsets, this can be an ideal deal, saving them $100 on the actual price tag of $249.
