FiOS TV is coming soon to Mac and iOS devices.Official release date has not announced yet.Beet.tv reports that Verizon is planning to roll FiOS TV on the Mac and iOS early next year. This will be part of a larger offering of broadband and TV channel packages, which is currently limited to two choices.
Whereas you can currently get 15Mbps with 180 channels for $85 per month or 275 channels with 25Mbps for $95, more choices are coming.
Verizon indicates they’ll be changing this soon and allowing users greater freedom to mix and match speeds and TV packages, but they’re not yet getting specific on price changes. Verizon executives claim user demand for a la carte TV channels “is an issue that will be growing,” but not one they plan to worry much about during the first half of 2011.
