Apple App Store Sales Increased By 50 Percent To $15 Billion In 2014

According to Apple, App Store sales increased record 50 percent in 2014 and nearly half billion dollars has been generated from apps and in-app purchases.

On the first week of this year, Apple has announced the highest billing from the App Store. Almost half a billion dollars apps and in-app purchases have been sold to the Apple users around the world which is a new milestone for the industry. Though every year they set up new milestone and keep breaking that on the very next year yet it indicates the constant growth of the company.

The total revenue from App Store rose 50 percent and developers made more than $10 billion dollar revenues from apps. Thus, developers earned $25 billion from apps and games in total. Talking about that Eddy Cue, Appleā€™s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services said “This year is off to a tremendous start after a record-breaking year for the App Store and our developer community. We’re so proud of the creativity and innovation developers bring to the apps they create for iOS users and that the developer community has now earned over $25 billion.”

In addition, the very first day of 2015 became the single biggest day ever in Apple App Store sales history.
