iPhone 5 is all but set to launch during the later part of this year. Most of the analysts have speculated that it will most probably hit the shelves in the coming October. While the rumors about the device are rampant, including it having a liquid metal and a different dock connector, it is rather surprising to note that a report now claims Apple is still unsure about the design of the device.
According to a report on iMore, although the company has finalized most of the hardware specs of the device, it is still unsure as to the design of the body. And thus, this is still being considered at Apple.
iMore is of the opinion that some of the rumors that have been doing their rounds on the web, for instance the one about a smaller dock connector for iPhone 5, are confirmed. And that iPhone 5 is sure to have such a feature. However, there are yet other things which are still to be finalized.
These include, specifically, the material that will go into the making of iPhone’s body. We have been hearing that Apple may be using liquid metal for the shell of the device to make it more durable and light. However, this current report by iMore suggests that Apple is still unsure of the material that should be used for the purpose.
Also, Apple is still discussing the display size that should be feature in iPhone 5. Although there wouldn’t be much change between the display size of iPhone 4S and iPhone 5, Apple still has to pin down the specifications about it. Moreover, for the fans of a Home Button on iPhone, the good news are that it is probably going to stay, even in iPhone 5.
