How To Fix Issues and Problems Using GreenPois0n RC5 on jailbreak iOS 4.2.1

Chronic Dev Team has just released Greenpois0n RC5 to apply untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 to all idevices. Greenspoison rc5 supports these idevices – iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G. After releasing GreenPois0n People are having different issues and problems with the GreenPois0n RC5.

Issue One: If you are stopped at ‘Greenpois0n initalized’ then follow the below solution

Fix One: Retry GreenPois0n again, except when you’ve entered DFU mode, don’t let go of the home button (iSurenix)

Issue Two: After jailbreak, the Loader does not install Cydia

Fix Two: Just download the latest RedSn0w, Click on Browse, Navigate to iOS 4.2.1 IPSW file, Click next, Click on Install Cydia, follow the instruction to put it in DFU. That’s it! The order doesn’t matter: run GP after redsn0w, or run redsn0w after GP (@MuscleNerd)

    I also have the same problem I open cydia but it seems to freeze while the loader spins and it takes me to the lockscreen and it keeps happening

    go to loader and try to reinstall. if that doesnt work,put anything purchased on to your itunes account, restore the ipod, and rejailbreak

    i have already jailbroken my ipod touch second gen. 4.2.1 on greenpoison and i tried to download cydia afterwards.  It wouldn’t down load and had the” cog” like buffering shape i let it try to download but it wasn’t letting me do anything so i turned it off.  i then turned it back on and it goes from the apple to the green poison logo buffers like above,but doesn’t change from there. what do i do?

    I jb my Verizon iphone4.2.6with greenpoison about 1 1/2 weeks later I received a message saying, sorry for inconvenience but the springboard has just crashed so u r running in safe mode. Mobile sub/strate/did/not/do/this it protected u from it.. Any extensions that support this have been disabled. Reboot or restart to return to normal mode… Well it will not reboot/restart… I’ve lost safari phone iPod mail settings camera calendar etc… How does one access the solutions that I read to try them out I’ve been without iPhone etc for over a week now I’m going nutZ here… Do I haveto buy a new phone or I’d this fixable?) pleeeease help…

Spring board crashed stuck in safe mode will not restore or restart reboot or whatever to set it back to normal mode haven’t had phone mail cydia camera iPod and most of my apps..     make sure you  change the settings so the iphone/ipod  never goes to sleep as it cuts your download when your screen times out
