Apple has not released yet the final version of iOS 4.3. The beta version is going on. But AppAdvice has found a new functionality in iOS 4.3. The main characteristics of this feature is that it allows you to cancel an in-progress download of any application through AppStore.
The feature is quite simple to use. All you have to do is enter the icon arrangement mode (“Wiggle mode”) as you normally do to delete an app. This time however, you’ll notice the ‘x’ appear over the currently downloading app as well. Just hit it, confirm and iOS will proceed to interrupt the download and delete the app.
If you are waiting for the public release of iOS 4.3 then please note that Apple may be planning to release the public version of iOS 4.3 before the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 which is due on February 10th. Moreover, Apple has release it’s iOS4.3b3 to developers.
