iOS 6 Jailbreak Evasi0n Already Unlocks 7 Million Devices

iDevice jailbreaking tool Evasi0n was released Monday morning, February 4. Since the tool was released, Evasi0n was downloaded more than 1.7 million times within the period of less than two days. The most astonishing news is around 7 million iOS users have installed Evasi0n on their devices within four days since its releasing!

iOS 6 Jailbreak Evasi0n

Evasi0n is the first jailbreaking software for the iPhone 5 and iOS 6.1. According to Jay Freeman, exactly 5.15 million iPhones, 1.35 million iPads and 400,000 iPod touches got accessed from Freeman’s famous jailbreak app store, Cydia. Freeman has mentioned that Evasi0n has brought Cydia “insanely more new traffic”.

Editor’s Note: As the stat comes from Jay Freeman, developer behind Cydia, its the stat that shows how many people really used Cydia after Jailbreaking. Not the number of download or number or people really unlocked their device using Evasi0n, the real count could should be higher, as many people could have jailbroken their device, solely for unlocking purpose, but have not accessed Cydia yet(Not software unlock, Gevey type unlock which only need Jailbroken device).
