Apple Cites 13″ Retina MacBook Pro In New ‘Colors’ Ad

Apple recently released a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, quite as the rumors had been suggesting. The company has now released a new ad titled ‘Colors’ which highlights the high-resolution display packed by the machine.

13-inch MacBook Pro

During its event on last Tuesday, Apple released a whole range of new products, ranging from tablets to laptops and more. Among these was, as predicted, a new addition to Apple’s Retina display laptops.

Apple already released a 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display a while ago, which carries a basic price tag of $2199. Naturally, that put it somewhat out of the budgets of most consumers. As if to counter that, Apple has apparently introduced the 13-inch version as the more affordable alternative.

In the ‘Colors’ ad, Apple shows off the exceptionally bright and vivid screen of the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro. During the course of the ad, we are shown a number of professional software such as Final Cut Pro being run on the laptop. This is apparently a subtle hint that Apple is clearly targeting the professional as the audience for its new 13-inch laptop.

This notion is further pronounced when the a voice narrates during the ad, “Introducing the new 13-inch MacBook Pro. With the stunning Retina display. For the pro in all of us.”

The new jewel to Apple’s Retina family arrives at a starting price of $1699 which certainly makes it more affordable in comparison to the 15-inch variant. Nonetheless, the price tag is still a lot higher than many other ultrabook machines available in the market.
