A leaked photo with Sony smartphones line-up reveals two mysterious Xperia smartphones. One model, with a rather large display could be the rumored Xperia Nypon. Industry observers hinted that this is a “a NovaThor U8500-based handset” and features a 4 inch qHD Reality display. When it comes to camera capabilities, the new Xperia phone is supposed to sport a 8 MP sensor and 1080p video recording. The design should be similar to the already unveiled Xperia S but Nypon is expected to hide under the hood different technical specifications.
A second Xperia model that appeared in the photo is even more mysterious. Analysts are not sure if it is the model previously codenamed Kumquat, the Xperia mini successor or Xperia Pepper. If the first case turns out to be true, then this new Xperia should be powered by an NovaThor U8500 processor and should include among other features a 3.5 inch FWVGA Reality display, a 5 MP camera and 720p video recording capabilities.
