The new iPad will be available at Apple Stores in a number of countries which include U.S., Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, U.K., Switzerland, Germany, France, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. In all these regions, the tablet will be available at stores at 8 a.m. local time on Friday.

Apparently, this early hour for the availability of the tablet has been announced by Apple to accommodate for the huge demand for the new iPad. Especially on the day of launch, it is being expected that Apple may be able to sell as much as one million tablets! That will be the record high for the launch day sales of any tablet so far.

The new iPad from Apple features a Retina display with an ultra-high resolution, the A5X processor from Apple and a lot of other features which have hooked the world up to the tablet and everyone has his sights set on it. Specifically, the 4G LTE support with which the tablet comes has swayed the hearts of many in favor of iPad.

In case you still don’t have any plans for a new iPad or are weary of the sold-out pre-orders and the oh-so-long waiting lines in front of Apple stores, you can always go for iPad 2 which is now available at a very reasonable price of $399 from Apple (iPad 2 16GB Wi-Fi only model). Other retailers are offering even better prices, so iPad 2 has also become a very fine option with the release of the new iPad.
