Facebook In-App Purchases Now Can Be Used To Recharge Your Mobile Phone

Facebook realizes that it needs to rapidly evolve into a social network which has its mobile audience as its main strengths. So far, the company has struggled to monetize its mobile-based presence. To make that happen, the company has now introduced a new way to pay for your in-app purchases.

In-app purchases are a very popular concept. Many apps are being offered for free and its only through in-app purchases that they are able to generate revenue. Conventionally, users had to directly pay for premium items and bonus features that they would buy in a game app. The purchasing power that the users get after spending their real money is being called ‘Facebook Credits.’

The social network has now launched an all-new way of mobile payments for the users.  Through this new model, a user can get Facebook Credits and purchases online premium items within apps while at the same time, he wouldn’t have to pay up immediately.  Rather, his ‘spending’ will be included in his bill from his wireless carriers.

Many users often find the process of paying for in-app purchases rather cumbersome since it involves filling of forms and what not. By providing them an alternate solution, one which is all the more convenient and easy and can be completed without any hassle, Facebook is essentially trying to make the whole process of in-app purchases more seamless and easy.
