Facebook Recommends Songs According To Your Relationship Status

When your whole life is on Facebook, then your favourite social network already knows a lot of things about you. But surprising, it is not just your life that it knows about, it also can know what is in your heart, what your heart is going through and based on your emotional state can tell you what you should listen to when your heart is broken.

Come to think of it, this might not be an impossible thing for Facebook to judge and recommend a user what music he or she should listen to for calming down the mood and lessen the pain. Because when updating your Facebook status, you will definitely mention what is your current status in the relationship section. So be careful not just what you tell the world through Facebook what your relationship status is, but what you tell your social network what relationship you are going through.

Since September 2011 after the f8 Conference, Facebook introduced sharing of a lot of activities with friends on Facebook and one of those is to share your favourite music, especially using Spotify. Putting together the data of what you have been listening to and what is your current relationship status, Facebook data team has gathered together a list of what songs people listen to when are in a relationship, when they have begun it and when it ends for them.
