Complaints are starting to mount from iOS 4 users that are having a difficult time synchronizing their iDevice with their Exchange environments.
The bug in question prevents iOS 4 from synchronizing email, calendar, or contact data from a users Exchange server to an iOS 4 device (usually just one of the three data points won’t synchronize, and from the looks of it Calendar is the big one). Apple released a knowledge base article with a potential quick-fix, but a quick gander at the Apple discussion boards tells us that it didn’t quite get the job done. Add this latest snafu to the list of fires Apple is currently trying to extinguish.
My jailbroken iPhone 4 won’t sync facebook pictures.I’ve tried changing the setting but still no lucky.can anybody help ????
Thx
Do you have the link to the apple knowledgebase article? It would have helped if that were included. Back to search again.
aargh… they did the same thing to me on the iphone (3g) last year (3 months to fix their error) and surprisingly on the eve of iPhone 4. Now they have done it to my ipad (series 1), again surprise as they release the iPad 2. don’t apple test anything?….or is it a crappy marketing ploy to upgrade. guess i’ll have to keep the iPad in the cupboard for a few months until they get their ineptitude into gear AGAIN!!!!!
I’m not the biggest Apple fan, but this isn’t just an iPhone issue. Happens on the Droid as well. Also with Calendar. I’m willing to bet that it doesn’t happen on the Windows phone. 😛
You have turned off location services either on phone or just for FB, turn them back on again and it should work , don’t know why this is and it seems suspicious but it worked for me
Actually, no it doesn’t. I can honestly say, that WP7/Exchange integration for me, has been absolutely seamless.
I do not ever want Google, MS or any other party to share my appointments. EVER. When one deletes the gmail calender account to stop this unholy partnership, ALL previous and future appointments are erased from iphone or ipad. This is absurd and completely messed up workschedules for the last months and coming weeks. Google has absolutely no business knowing appointments, addresses of clients, and where One has been or is going. Apple or Google better put a stop to these practices. Enough.
Same deal with a Samsung Fascinate ruining android. Fix anyone?
