Car maker BMW unveiled the i3 concept car, the most advanced and futuristic electric car, in 2011. The good news is BMW i3 may reach the US in January next year.
When BMW unveiled the i3 concept car, the company mentioned that this EV would be able to gain 0-60 mph speed time in less than eight seconds and its high-speed charger would be able to achieve 80-percent battery charge in just one hour. The company also mentioned that the BMW i3 will be built at BMW’s Leipzig plant in Germany.
Lately, Autoblog has reported that BMW i3 may reach the US in January 2014 with prices starting at about $34,500. The site also mentioned that Europeans might get this car in November 2013 for €35,000. But BMW hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
