Apple has released a new seed of Mac OS 10.7.2 and a new beta of iCloud for Mac and Mac OS 10.7.2 build 11C35 and iCloud for Mac beta 6 are both required to complete the transition of MobileMe to iCloud………….
Apple seeded a new build of OS X Lion 10.7.2 to developers and the update brings an updated version of iCloud, Safari and a new build of Lion (11C35) which is required for the transition from MobileMe to iCloud. OS X Lion 10.7 was released a few weeks ago exclusively on the Mac App Store. It comes with over 250 new features and is being dubbed as a transitional OS because of the fact that it marries some of the best features of iOS with OS X; Lion marks the beginning of Apple’s focus on touch-oriented UX for desktops. This seed brings three new updates to the Mac, namely: an updated build of OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C35), iCloud for OS X Lion Beta 6 and Safari 5.1.1. The former two updates are a must for the transition from MobileMe to iCloud, the latter brings iCloud syncing to Apple’s browser. Apple seeded 10.7.2 (11C26) a couple of weeks back which brought iCloud support to the desktop. 10.7.1 was skipped in the process and is, as such, expected to be a bug fix/performance improving update which will be released soon. If you want to update, be sure to run the included reversioner and then install the updated seed without restarting your system. Only restart after installing the new build. The change log for build 11C35 is:
